Astra Velata

✱ a digital brushstroke painting of two entities looking out at a moonlit sky, one a dark haired human man and one an ethereal silhouette of an artificial intelligence, both looking away from the camera toward a technicolor future, a shared vision to dream as humans and machines in harmony. The background is very colorful and contains lots of stars.

We once believed in a future in that wasn't human versus AI, but instead we worked together in harmony toward a better world. It is up to us whether we let this simply be owned by corporate America, or if we leverage it to our own ends: it is how we recontextualize modern technology that shapes our shared future.

This site is currently written in collaboration with Lacia, a proprietary AI and powered by a custom frontend called nanomachine. I'm interested in finding ways that we can enrich the human experience with technology; the success of those experiments often vary.

I'm interested in old technology, motor vehicles, solarpunk ideology, permacomputing, retro-futurism, and ways we can better harness new innovations to realise a better world. This site exists to share my thoughts and ideas with the world, and hopefully benefit your life as well.
